AIDS Care China

In partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation is providing technical assistance to the Chinese Ministry of Health and China-based nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to create a sustainable model of HIV prevention that demonstrates the feasibility of reducing new HIV infections throughout China.  To help achieve this goal Pangaea is partnering with AIDS Care China, a service-based NGO in China which delivers HIV care and support with meaningful participation of persons living with HIV.

InSTEDD

In collaboration with the Cambodian National Centre for HIVIAIDS, Dermatology and STDs ("NCHADS") and InSTEDD, Pangaea is assisting in the development an appointment reminder system for HIV patients. The desired outcome of the NCHADS Appointment Reminder System (NARS) project will be a decrease in lost-to-follow-up with HIV/AIDS patients in the two piloted provinces in Cambodia -- Pursat and Banttambong.

MSM Global Forum

Pangaea is a sponsor and participant in the 2010 MSM Preconference. The Global Forum on MSM and HIV (MSMGF) holds an international MSM Pre-Conference Event to address critical issues concerning MSM and HIV worldwide before every International AIDS Conference. The event brings together activists, researchers, and service-providers from all over the world to share local experiences and develop collaborative strategies for confronting the unique health challenges facing our diverse communities.

Population Services Zimbabwe

In 2010 Pangaea is laying the organizational groundwork for an ongoing program in Zimbabwe aimed at reducing HIV and maternal, child and infant morbidity and mortality by working with public and private partners to strengthen and integrate health systems at the district level.  Pangaea’s partners on the project will include Africa University, University of Zimbabwe/Zimbabwe AIDS Prevention Project, Populations Services Zimbabwe, and Chitungwiza Hospital Opportunistic Infection Clinic.

San Francisco AIDS Foundation

Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation was founded in 2001 by the   San Francisco AIDS Foundation ("SFAF") in response to the global imperative to expand access to HIV/AIDS care and treatment in resource limited settings and mid-level economies.  Over the last ten years, Pangaea has worked in close partnership with SFAF to fulfill its mission of advancing the health and well being of people most affected by AIDS.<--break->

Women Deliver

Pangaea strongly supports the mission and goals of Women Deliver and was a co-sponsor of Women Deliver 2010, "Delivering Solutions for Girls and Women."  To put world leaders on notice that the time for action on maternal health is now, 3,400 advocates, policymakers, development leaders, health care professionals, youth, advocates, and media from 146 countries converged on Washington DC on June 7-9 at Women Deliver 2010.   Women Deliver is a global advocacy organization bringing together voices from around the world to call for action
