Neeraj Mistry, MD, MPH

Dr. Neeraj Mistry is a South African-born public health physician.  His work with Pangaea focuses on the development and implementation of public/private partnerships in the response to AIDS.  Neeraj was previously Technical Director at the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria ("GBC") where he led the technical assistance to GBC member companies focusing on policy, program design and implementation in the workplace and community. As a founding employee of GBC, he provided technical and substantive input to all GBC offices and departments.

While at GBC, Neeraj developed the Business AIDS Methodology (BAM), the BPAS (Best Practices AIDS Standard) and GBC's work on co-investment and public-private partnerships working with multilateral and bilateral agencies including the Global Fund and PEPFAR.

Mistry also worked at the National Health Service (NHS) in London and in Merck & Co. Inc.'s department of public affairs for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In addition to his medical training, he holds a master's degree in international health policy and health economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
