Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation

Pangaea's mission was to broaden access to HIV/AIDS antiretroviral (ARV) treatment and care around the world, with special emphasis on work in resource-limited settings.

Established by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation on World AIDS Day, 2001.

Rwanda

Pangaea worked closely with the Rwandan government in the development of a five-year HIV/AIDS Treatment and Care Plan that was approved in June of 2003.

Uganda

This facility, which opened on August 30, 2004, serves as both a regional HIV clinical training center for physicians and nurses and as a treatment clinic for people living with HIV.
